I completed my Matric with a Senior Certificate at South Peninsula High in 2001 and then went on to study a 1 year Access Course in Design which was an introduction to all the different design fields. I then studied 1 year in Fashion Design. In 2004 I went into childcare, working at a creche for a period of 8 months before studying a full time 6 months intensive Professional Au PairCourse. I then started working at Hout Bay Early Years in 2005 as a Creche Teacher and Assistant Manager, and later took over the Aftercare Facility as my own business till then end of 2007. In 2008 I began my Au Pair journey working with various families locally within the Cape Town area till the end of 2016. One of the families that I worked with for 4 years afforded me the opportunity to be part of their company as their personal assistant where I assisted with basic administrative work as well as collating power point presentations and workbook manuals. In 2017 I joined the Elkanah House family as an Assistant Teacher for the 4-5 year age group for 3 years, and then changed my position within the school to Librarian in 2020 and am currently still in the position. I work with students from Grade 000 to Grade 6.In 2022 I completed my Level 5 Tefl Diploma Certification.
