I am pursuing an Associates Degree in Freshwater Science, I've gained practical experience in water quality monitoring, habitat restoration, and aquatic research. As the founder and president of a student-led club with 100+ members, I've organized and executed numerous community engagement initiatives, such as cleanups, habitat restoration, and educational events. Through these efforts, I've developed strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. In my current role as a Community Organizer at the Michigan League of Conservation Voters, I've expanded my engagement efforts by working closely with communities to advance environmental policies and initiatives that promote sustainability and protect natural resources. Through grassroots organizing and coalition building, I've helped to engage and mobilize community members, elected officials, and other stakeholders to create meaningful change in our communities.
