I supervise and work with a diverse array of crew members to complete green collar work projects throughout Northwest Michigan with a focus in the Grand Traverse County area. Leaders are responsible for creating a valuable experience for the EcoCorps crew members facilitating environmental education, life skills, transferable work skills, and safe.

• Recruiting and supporting a sustainable team of volunteers to advocate for stronger protections for our air, land, water and public health
• Advocating opportunities that further or fit into Michigan LCV’s issue, accountability, electoral or publiceducation campaigns
• Organizing and attending community events and meetings to engage and expand Michigan LCV’s member base in Northern Michigan, including Grand Traverse County and the surrounding areas
• Keeping a steady pulse on the local political lay of the land and local environmental issues, sharing thatknowledge with staff and key partners, and using those issues and opportunities to engage citizens inMichigan.
• Participating in all Michigan LCV political election work — doing the hard work of campaigning, whichmeans door-to-door field canvassing, text and phone banking, and attend campaign events
• Daily reporting of the region’s data to the Northern Michigan Regional Coordinator

• Conducted environmental restoration projects, land stewardship, slope stabilizations, invasive species removal, trail maintenance, habitat restoration, and tree planting.
