Education, Workforce Development, Community Impact- Created, developed, lead and implemented all aspects of the Chamber's new education initiative UniteSF- Supported convening and collective impact opportunities for UniteSF. Recruited leadership from over 15 City departments, non-profits, and large corporations to serve on UniteSF's executive council. Secured grant funding totally over $80,000K to support strategic planning of UniteSF and the development of a 5 year roadmap. - Managed and facilitated partnerships with CBO's, City Agencies and SFUSD around education programming and initiatives - Represented the Chamber on education related task forces and working groups- Reviewed education related policy and recommended Chamber positions for action by the public policy department- Represented the Chamber on the SF Unified School District Career Technical Education Advisory Board- Represented the Chamber on the City's Tech Advisory Council- In partnership with membership team, created and implemented a new tech focused events initiative known as Tech After DarkLead Small Business outreach and programming- Developed the Chamber's small business programming including the Small Business Advisory Council and Small Business University - Served as point of contact for community outreach, including engaging with merchant associations and other industry focused entities - Oversaw SFBizConnect, a new online small business procurement platform in partnership with the City of San Francisco - Co-chaired Small Business Week 2015 and lead the Chamber's efforts around city-wide small business outreach such as Small Business Saturday - Reviewed small business related policy in conjunction with the public policy departmentLead Issue Based Initiatives including Transportation & Clean Energy- Lead the Chamber's outreach around clean-energy efforts in San Francisco and the greater surrounding regions

Public Policy Activities - Support the Director and Vice President of Public Policy through legislative research, policy organization, and community outreach.- Lead the Chamber’s education outreach efforts through participation on coalitions and advisory boards focused on STEM Education, CTE Programs, and Workforce Development. Review state and federal legislation related to education policy. - Organize and execute campaign strategy for local elections including outreach for contributions, strategic placement of campaign material, and development of language on election material. - Manage SF Forward, the political action committee for the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce through the monitoring of funds and contributions. Collaborate directly with Political Compliance attorneys to ensure proper filing of all forms and funds. - Manage and plan all public policy outreach events including but not limited to the public policy committee, public policy forum, events with supervisors, and individual policy related events throughout the year. - Lead and plan Chamber led advocacy trips to Washington, DC and Sacramento through the development of policy goals, organization of outreach and leave-behind materials, and securing meetings with elected officials at the state and federal level. Small Business Activities - Serve as lead contact for small business related outreach and events including but not limited to the Small Business Advisory Committee, Small Business Issues Forum, and general small business events. - Review small business related legislation and make recommendations to the Director and VP of Public Policy. - Serve on planning committee for the San Francisco Small Business Week representing the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce.

Part time advocacy support with the Golden Gate STEM Alliance working to increase partnerships and visibility for STEM oriented programs.

• Developed and implemented state and federal bill tracking program• Organized monthly Legislative Committee Meetings o Set agendas, organized speakers, and tracked attendance of committee members o Presented on state and federal bills with position recommendations for Legislative Committee Members and conveyed Committee recommendations to Chamber Executive Board through presentations and reports• Managed workforce and economic development efforts of the Anaheim Enterprise Zone through collaboration of job developers, business leaders, and education representatives. o Organized and established “Career Technical Student of the Year” Award program with Anaheim Unified School District o Developed partnerships with Anaheim Unified School District, Anaheim Workforce Investment Board, the Small Business Development Center and SCORE• Served as the Anaheim Chamber Political Action Committee Staff Liaison coordinating candidate questions for Chamber endorsement, assisting with fundraising events and preparing agendas for PAC meetings• Contributing writer for quarterly newspaper, “Business Advocate.”
