As a manufacturing consultant I was instrumental in the implementation of new operating procedures, assembly methods, VA/VE activities, QS9000 principles and Lean Manufacturing disciplines. I was also responsible for the writing of job descriptions and I had an input on the hiring of personnel. I managed the warehouse facilities to ensure that these facilities were functioning at industry standards.

Responsible for the development, marketing and sales of anti-theft security device. New company with an emphasis on helping to save the lives of children. Every day 8 children lose their lives due to the unauthorized access to handguns. The "RAC" is a device designed to prevent this unauthorized access to weapons. The "RAC" is also an excellent device for securing bikes, power tools, gas generators etc.

I was responsible for securing new business and maintaining current business. I was responsible for 6 major Ford vehicle platforms. My duties included leading a diverse team of engineers, designers, cost estimators and technicians in the launching of a quality product to our customers on time and within cost restraints. I typically exceeded all internal profit margins due to my leadership and paying attention to detail. I experienced on average, a 10% sales growth annually. I was responsible for $37 million in sales which accounted for approximately 30% of the company's total revenue. As a Program Manager I resolved all customer issues (cost/timing/quality/performance) quickly and effectively often ending up in win/win situations for both the customer and L&L. Led a team of four engineers in "cradle to grave" activities.
