Hey, if you arrived at this profile, stay and say hi!I’ve always been interested in new cultures, places and people so my mum wasn’t surprised when I ended up studying languages and living and working abroad for the past 8 years. I have always found communication, in all its shapes and forms, one of the most powerful tools in today’s world and I guess that’s why I’m here!I am a Communications Specialist and a Conference Interpreter, currently based between Bonn and Brussels, with more than 5 years of experience in digital communications and multilingualism. I am currently employed as a consultant by the United Nations Environment Programme, where I work with the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES). I also work as a freelance consultant offering clients digital communication & interpreting services and love working with projects and organisations in the fields of LGBTIQ+ issues, gender equality, environment, culture, education and human rights.One of my main fields of work and research is inclusive communication, which I explored in my EU Communications Master’s Thesis, investigating how the EU communicates with and about the LGBTIQ+ community. Something I particularly enjoy is guiding clients in their journey to improve their external and internal communication activities, making sure that intersectionality and meaningful inclusion are at the core of every communications strategy. And because one is never too old to study, I am currently pursuing an additional Master’s in Gender Equality, Women’s Rights and Public Policy.Where can you find me?
