I am the new 16-18 Coordinator at Questions and Answers CIC and I am currently delivering a programme for 16-18 year olds called ‘Inspiring NOT Defining’ This project is being developed for the delivery of provision for 4 days a week for 11 weeks to 16-18 year old learners. The project has an ultimate long term aim to establish a “skills shop” which will be owned and run by young people for young people with the support of “TASH” their Training and Support Hero and external organisations. There are many smaller components which will build towards this goal. The project will support, empower and enable young people to reach their full potential. “TASH” will guide rather than tell, coach rather than mentor and support the young people to increasing choices, and turn limitations into opportunities On the programme the young people will be attending the following:¨ Level 1 Preparing for Work¨ Maths¨ English¨ ICT¨ Work Placement 1 or 2 days per week¨ Personal character development, changing beliefs, aspirations and attitudes sessions If you would like to talk to me in or more depth or make a referral then please don’t hesitate to contact me on 01209 200583 or Tasha@qacic.co.uk
