Head Start Hr Manager
Current➔ Effectively coach managers and leadership, and demonstrate success in driving career development, employee relations, and retention.➔ Diagnose problems and identify appropriate solutions.➔ Provide strategic guidance to leadership in areas including, but not limited to, talent acquisition, performance development, career progression, and succession planning.➔ Lead and supervise front office staff to provide high-level professional customer service, manage customer complaints and provide immediate resolution.➔ Oversee all employee change processes while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.➔ Design and implement programs that build team member engagement and retention including on-boarding, conducting stay interviews, engaging in development discussions and performing off-boarding.➔ Manage the full employment life cycle, including: development of job descriptions, recommend appropriate compensation, recruitment and selection, onboarding and orientation, performance management, retention strategies, and terminations.➔ Provide expert knowledge and collaboration on HR related topics on several agency teams/committees and in the community. ➔ Investigate and respond to concerns, complaints and/or provide general guidance, always striving for successful resolution.➔ Develop and implement new employment policies and procedures.➔ Oversee and monitor HRIS, Applicant Tracking System, Program-Specific database, along with other required databases.➔ Complete Program Goals as dictated by the Head Start grant to ensure outcomes are met.➔ Develop effective working relationships and build trust with all levels of the organization to effectivelywork as a strategic partner and advisor across a multitude of HR topics➔ Coordinate benefits and assist employees with questions and/or concerns.➔ Complete all HR tasks to ensure compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards, district, state, and federal regulations.
