Tash is a Welsh-Canadian author, activist and educator. Their publications include award winning trans-led murder mystery NO ONE LEFT BUT YOU, multiple critically acclaimed HiLo novellas and a groundbreaking speculative series about telepathic teenagers and cannibals. Their writing journey began when their wife dared them to write a book after they complained too much about predicatble plots. That first novel became part of queer sci fi dystopia series, THE PSIONICS (Nine Star Press).Tash has been chosen twice for the Junior Library Guild Gold Standard (BLOODSPORT, 2020, SINK OR SWIM, 2021). Tash is a recipient of the Shoot for the Moon fund for trans writers, and a founding mentor with the Gender Generations Project.When they’re not writing or reading you can probably find Tash in a lake, lying on the carpet thinking about monsters, or getting a new tattoo. They enjoy regular cups of tea, existential philosophy, and sharp objects.

The Gender Generations Project works to empower trans, two-spirit, non-binary, and other gender diverse youth so that they can recognize their potential to be leaders in their own communities through British Columbia, and the rest of the world.The project fosters connections between the youth and adult mentors with shared or similar gender identities and backgrounds who can support and inspire them to live their truths in spite of adversity.In our retreats, and through all of our workshops and other group activities, we work to build creative projects that provide meaningful ways for both the youth and mentors to engage in self-expression, as well as bring awareness to our diverse community.We are a model of awesome gender diverse representation for youth in schools who might be questioning their gender identity or expression, parents of kids who are in the process of coming out, educators and other professionals who support gender diverse youth, and anyone else who can relate to our spirit of inclusivity and belonging.In the past we have focused on the creation of projects in the realm of fine arts, such as writing, visual art, and performance, and are working on expanding our fields of interest into other areas.

As an EFL Teacher I taught 6 hours of self designed lessons a day to mixed level classes of 12-17 year olds taking part in an intensive summer school. I also helped as an activity leader and trip guardian.

Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-Do, Korea

Working with a co-teacher to prepare and deliver 22 hours a week to students in their second and third grade of highschool (Aged 16-18) I was solely responsible for running one summer and one winter camp during this time. I was also selected to work with four other teachers from the entire province to plan and deliver a ten day long intensive course for the highest achieving students province wide. I also helped organise and implement a country wide Business English competition which was televised.
