I’m a dedicated and diligent Assistant Laboratory Manager. Since taking this role I have been in charge of training staff to be able to complete all tasks within a Histology Laboratory. I have been trusted to write new Manuals and keep them up to date. I’m a big advocate of teamwork and looking after your team well to have a happy, healthy work environment.

I work as a Senior Scientific Officer responsible for management of work flow between the morning and afternoon shift as well as ensuring patient specimens are completed by a deadline. I have experience in SRA, cut-up, processing, embedding, microtomy, staining, managing a Ventana IPX stainer and keeping all maintenance and QC records up to date. I also manage the work flow and rosters for the Saturday shift as well as a pilot project during the week.
