I am currently working in Sydney Water's operations division. I contribute to several core teams including Field Services, Laboratory Services, and Monitoring, Design and Reporting. My previous experience was in the Science, Research and Innovation team. Some of my key focus areas included:- Waterway health of the Hawkesbury-Nepean River and its major tributaries,- Water quality and treatment science, including sea water ingress, codigestion for sustainable biogas reuse and treating natural organic matter,- Networks and asset science, including monitoring pressure transient events in Sydney Water's area of operations, and- Environmental policy and regulation, such as coastal management and the remediation of land

As part of Prensa's Environmental team, I focused on contaminated land management and remediation projects across Sydney. My experience included: - Desktop reviews which investigated regional geology, topography, contaminated land databases and historical/aerial photographs for major projects; - Environmental site investigation and subsequent preparation of environmental management plans;- Installation, development, sampling and monitoring of groundwater wells for groundwater assessment projects- Soil contamination assessments for major clients; - In-situ and stockpile waste classification assessments at various sites;- Soil vapour intrusion monitoring at heritage listed properties; - Due diligence environmental and hazardous materials assessments of commercial and industrial buildings around the Sydney region;
