As the manager of the Women’s Business Assistance Center, I provide individualized business advising and group instruction to aspiring women entrepreneurs and spearheads women-focused programming throughout North Texas. I oversee a budding business facility to advance women in entrepreneurship and creates innovative programming to spur economic opportunity for women as they compete in a changing economy. With a passion for social and economic justice and experience in program development, I equip women with the tools to succeed. Under my leadership, PeopleFund’s female clients have created jobs, provided valuable community services, and gained national attention – including invitations to speak at the White House.

Facilitate client and mentor relationships, managing all related impact tracking, success analytics, and sentiment. Recruit, train, and steward Volunteer mentors in major markets across Texas.Coordination, development and delivery of all PeopleFund curriculum and extended programs.Represent PeopleFund at community outreach and engagement events statewide. Serve as liaison between lending and program departments, providing input for client success. Support program outreach within relevant communities and populations. iOS and OS hardware and software certified technician. Responsible for ensuring both internal and external customer service in roles as technician and lead roles. Continuously ensure daily and quarterly goals required of role as well as lead innovation in training and pilot programs directed by company. Work heavily in market training, multiple store openings state-wide, and on-boarding of several dozen groups of new employees. Have been in Lead Genius, Support Leader and Holiday Support roles, leading my immediate peer team through transition in leadership as well as support to leadership team during launch and holiday seasons. Role as Genius is accompanied by Mentor role in store, continuously developing and training different small groups of employees every quarter; ensuring Apple culture and encouraging personal and professional growth.

Supported in planning conferences and surrounding events for Vision Juvenil International Youth Conference and Mujer a Mujer Women’s conference. Executed public relations and social media strategy for Vision Juvenil, UNO Ministry, and UNO University Outreach. Continuously managed a team of 15 people to complete various media projects including, video and still camera, visual projection, lighting, and miscellaneous creative elements.

Organized field operations in the states of North Carolina and Florida. Ran offices operated by over 50 volunteers as well as delegated office volunteers into leading over 1,500 volunteers into phone bank, canvassing, voter registration drives as well as voting drives which proved 71%-84% winning results in 13 major precincts. Interpreted numeric goals into tangible actions for volunteers to carry out. Prepared daily reports on progress of area activities critical to adjustment of local strategy.

Primarily worked with Students for Barack Obama, owning organization at the University of Texas at El Paso and with the Young Democrats of El Paso. Organized several fundraisers and visits including those of Christina Chavez, daughter of Cesar Chavez, comedian George Lopez, former governor and Secretary of State Janet Napolitano and former Senator and current Secretary of State John Kerry. Duties included ensuring proper vetting of those invited, reporting finances and attendance, scouting locations and details such as media and social communication, invitations and catering needs for every event.
