My role at Mackay Wanderers is overseeing all coach and player development. Our plan is to develop a clear pathway from juniors to seniors while increasing the technical and tactical ability at each age. I oversee all recruitment of players and coaches and hold regular coach education sessions. A large part of what I plan to bring to the club and the town is an expansion of the community programme. Some of the larger programmes we are starting are:• In school and after school clubs/sessions• A Saturday Morning drop in session • School holiday camp programme for both beginners and advanced players• Holding Football Festivals at the club for local school teams to compete in

At RVDL the philosophy is based around the Dutch style of total football, in accordance with this no team has one specific coach and we rotate coaching and taking games through all teams U8’s-U17’s. Achievements:-creating a curriculum for our junior coaches and ourselves to base sessions off-Action plan for maximizing our older teams potential. We are also trying to improve our feeder system for college scholarships and European academies.- Developing several players to join various professional academies - administration roles related to kit and vehicles

Run the academy alongside another coach. I was brought in for my coaching experience and was put in charge of all aspects of the coaching we offer. Some of my main responsibilities and achievements were: • creating an in school/afterschool coaching curriculum• developing a coaching curriculum for our academy • devising specific coach education sessions for coaches and teachers at schools• creating schemes of works for schools • Scouting new academy playersAlong with these coaching duties I also had administrator tasks of sourcing and booking pitches for each home match, acquiring new bookings from schools and attending meetings and liaising with the various leagues our teams were in.
