I grew up in Paraguay, a country in South America. When I was little,my brother insisted that my parents bought a computer. It was an IBM with a hard drive that had a size of 1GB. At that time I had no idea what that meant, but it fascinated me anyways. So over the years I started working more and more with computers. I learned how to install an operating system, how to put my own computer together, and so on. Then I got an opportunity to work for a small computer store as a Help desk technician. There I learned how to troubleshoot hardware or software. My passion for computers developed further which led to my decision to study Computer Science. Since I was currently enrolled in a Teacher preparation institute, I finished what I started. After that I worked for a company as IT Administrator to pay back my student loan and to develop my skill set in IT. The position gave me opportunity's to experiment with different operating systems and to learn how to troubleshoot software problems related to Linux. After paying off my debt I decided to move to Canada to study Computer Science, which is what I am currently doing at the University of the Fraser Valley.
