I am currently a 4th-year undergraduate student at the University of California, Irvine studying Environmental Science and Policy in the School of Social Ecology. I am in the process of completing my bachelor's degree and plan on graduating June 2024. I was also a member for the Assocation for Gamers at UCI and have become proficient in technology and PC applications. I have had a previous job at B&E Manufacturing where I was a maintenance assistant and learned how to be hands on when working in tough conditions and in small spaces. I have also recently completed a 3-month long internship with the UCI Herbarium and learned the basics of field experience and the handling of plant specimens. I have also had some experience with GIS and remote sensing regarding environmental science and real-world applications.Over the past few years, I have developed a passion for the outdoors and aim to get a career in conservation so I can possibly be connected to it for the rest of my life and career. Being a student at UCI has further enhanced this love for animals and nature and I have related my technology skills and communication skills to this field of study. I aim to become a leader in the work of conservation and want to teach and mentor others into learning to love and protect nature as much as I do and connect with those who do.
