Responsible for the Oracle Public Cloud Storage development teams.

 2 1/2 years as NBC platform project architect responsible for all facets of design and development in services including video distribution, persistence systems for consumer facing and internal customer sites. Customers including: NBC.com, USA, SyFy, and other NBC properties. Designer and developer for web- based satellite video distribution system used for pushing large video files to consumers via multicast. Used for SDI play out into customer systems and near real- time publishing of content to multiple customers simultaneously. Developed large- scale video distribution systems for pushing network and user content to CDN while maintaining all mMeta- content and geo / user restrictions. Developed high- availability Affinity / Eventing system exposed with REST and Spring Web services used by a large number of NBC and affiliate networks in their customer facing sites for promoting shows. Instrumental in bringing Spring, Maven and component- based development into play in current systems architecture. Led product development cycle from concept through release.

Team lead for Umbria’s reporting platform. A web portal delivering trending and near real time charting of NLP information gathered from the Blogosphere. Helped extend and architected a LAMJ (Linux, Apache, MySQL, Java) software bundle for timely, cost effective delivery of reporting on actionable unsolicited feedback consisting of over 250M topic mentions to end customers on a weekly basis. Responsible for team and product direction and scheduling.

Project manager for the MammoTest Breast Biopsy System the preferred stereotactic X-ray device used for diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. Architected full .NET redesign of the MammoTest workstation (MammoVision) including full suite of DICOM connectivity. Used Managed C++ to bridge the historical code base / technology while helping leverage developers key skill sets in moving the platform forward and extending the useful life of the system. Responsible for full lifecycle development of the product line. Instrumental in requirements gathering, procedure and process development while maintaining a key role in development.
