Responsible for running the day to day operations of the Emerging Technology Lab. Direct Emerging Tech team and oversee their work from concept to release. Conceive, produce, improve and maintain projects. Research and implement creative ways to put Center for BrainHealth's cutting edge research into practice by using new modalities in neuro-technology and game development. Responsible for the overall look and feel of Charisma. Direct the art team and oversee their work from concept to release. Work with the Lead Programmer to maintain and improve the game, Research and implement current modelling, texturing, animation, rendering and lighting techniques and tools appropriate to the games technology, with input from the Lead Programmer. All aspects of the business were intentional and driving towards the eventual scaling of the product.Media Conversion & Restoration: Employed Adobe Premiere to digitally restore and transfer diverse video formats, from DVDs to 8mm films, onto cutting-edge storage platforms.Custom DVD Production: Crafted unique DVD menus with Photoshop and After Effects, integrated meticulously using Adobe Encore, ensuring each project bore a unique, personal touch.Photo Restoration & Editing: Brought vintage photographs back to life, tapping into advanced editing techniques, preserving the essence of age-old memories.Entrepreneurial Process & Scalability: Beyond the design and restoration, I was exposed to the nuances of the startup ecosystem. This immersive experience not only allowed me to hone my design skills but also imbued me with a foundational understanding of pedagogical principles and instructional design techniques.Multimedia Content Creation: Illustrated and laid out educational materials for textbooks on key topics such as Project Management and Information Security Certifications. My work was pivotal in ensuring that complex concepts were communicated effectively and engagingly to learners.Branding & Marketing Assets: Developed a wide array of promotional materials including advertising graphics, book designs, posters, games, and packaging. Each design was tailored to resonate with CertTest's brand and to appeal to its diverse clientele.This role at CertTest was transformative. Not only did I get a deep dive into the design and layout of educational content, but I also inadvertently absorbed invaluable knowledge on Project Management and Information Security. This symbiosis of design, curriculum development, and core industry knowledge would later become cornerstones of my professional growth, informing and enriching my subsequent leadership roles.
