I am a dedicated Juris Doctor candidate at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, with a strong foundation in political science from the University of Minnesota. My commitment to academic excellence is demonstrated through my roles as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy and active participation as President of the UST Law Public Service Board and Treasurer of Lex Vitae. As a Legal Fellow for the Christian Legal Society, I immerse myself in principles that align with both my career aspirations and personal values.My professional journey features hands-on legal research and advocacy experience, notably with Americans United for Life in Washington, D.C. In this role, I efficiently execute complex legal research, prepare memoranda, and contribute to federal administrative rule comments, reinforcing the organization's mission. I have also played a key role in summer lobbying efforts and have been involved in reviewing major publications.As a Research Assistant to Professor Teresa S. Collett at the University of St. Thomas, I draft Senate and House testimony, format court filings, and assist in legal training sessions. My responsibilities include comprehensive reviewing, proofreading, and editing of law review articles, showcasing my attention to detail and dedication to the legal profession.My experience is augmented by prior roles that emphasize leadership and management. At the University of Minnesota, I organized large-scale student move-in efforts, managed a team of over 30 student workers, and served as a Resident Advisor during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. My role as a Congressional Campaign Intern for Jim Hagedorn further honed my skills in constituent engagement, fundraising, and campaign organization.Beyond my professional and academic endeavors, I am deeply involved in my community through Young Life Ministry leadership and active participation at Hope Community Church.
