Hi, my name is Tatum! I am currently studying for my BSc in Psychology at London Metropolitan University, and hope to infuse my work here into future careers. After graduation this upcoming year, I am aiming to chase my Masters degree in Neurosciences or Applied Research.My primary career goals revolve around social work, crisis intervention, environmentalism, and hands-on humanitarian work, and I am hoping to blend these interests with research and neuroscientific studies and publication. I am optimistic for the future and dedicated to getting the most out of my studies and experiences.I am an extremely quick, diligent, and curious learner, and take very quickly to anything I try; even if there are aspects of something I don't always enjoy, the overarching love for the bigger project or goal will always supplement my passion and carry me through (for instance, I'm not too good at maths, but it is an integral part of social science, so I am learning to love it!). I am also detail-oriented, and tend to prefer positions and interests which require nuance and intensive dedication because they bring me the most fulfillment and allow me to express my interests and goals in hugely meaningful ways; in this way, I tend to pour myself into things. In my free time, I love to write, hike, create, and be around friends. I'm a very social person and thrive in teamwork-based environments, particularly close-circle collaborations that rely heavily on meaningful connection, and in leadership roles of the same nature.Overall, I am just happy to be anywhere - whether it be part of a team, doing solo work, enjoying my hobbies, or even doing maths for my studies!
