Aided in the treatment of Division 1 Athletes under the supervision of Athletic Trainers and Physical Therapists. Responsibilities included completing weekly competencies during which I mastered knowledge of anatomy, injuries, and rehabilitation, while completing two shifts a week volunteering in the Sports Medicine Clinic.After gaining more experience, shifted to working mainly with the UVA Women's Softball team, putting in 15-37 hours a week, depending upon the team's schedule and the health of the team members. Responsibilities included attending practices, lifts, treatments, and games, as well as a clinical shift each week, an in-service, and additional hours with various other athletic teams.
