Being born in the pre-iPad era to working parents, I was surrounded by box sets of Tell Me Whys and encyclopedias to keep me occupied. Times changed, but the habit stayed; that's how I became a generalist with a working knowledge of an encyclopedic range of topics - from building experimental aeroplanes to crop yields to directional drilling of oil fields.These days, I work as a financial analyst for a 100-year-old American company. I am constantly learning about the finance side of business, and I love to learn new technology to unlock insights for better decision-making. I believe in going out of my way, always giving more than I take as a way of enriching my workplace.Things I am actively doing - learning Polish, and continuing my equity valuation research work from my time at university in order to learn more about finance. When I am not speed-reading research journals and newsletters, I like to try new recipes, visit museums and philharmonics, and Ryanairing around Europe, in reverse order.Feel free to reach out if you can’t decide which Seinfeld or Frasier episode you should rewatch, or just for coffee.
