1. Node.js REST API Tools: • Node.js, Express.js, Express-validator.js, Cassandra, gulp.js, lodash.js, MySQL, Nodeunit. Responsibilities: • Developed REST style API on Node.js application server using Express.js. • Used Cassandra for caching and MySQL as a backend database. • Written full-fledged unit tests using nodeunit testing framework. • Used gulp for linting code best practices and running unit tests. 2. Widget: Worked on Auctiva Commerce(AucCom) project release 3.0. Migrating the Auctiva Market Platform (AMP) Widget from AMP to Auctiva's Database. Migration Involves creating JSON object's to collect data from the database and return to the request using jQuery. Developed and tested on Google App Engine. It uses Python scripting to handle the requests. All the ebay store merchants can take the script generated and paste it in their websites to promote their products in the store.Elefy Project:Worked on Elefy.com (Search Engine) which is based on ASP.NET MVC2 architecture. This search engine will display all the products available on Auctiva Commerce stores. It performs a full text search on all the available products. It allows the user to filter their search based on the seller, category and price.It uses a cache model to keep the category tree and store details and a WCF service which keeps the cache for categories and store details updated. Created a WCF Service to provide a response to the search requests. SQL Optimization was performed for faster data retrieval.Curation Project:Developed a administration site based on ASP.NET MVC2 architecture. Uses SQLite Database for data storage and retrieval. Makes HttpWebRequest to the Elefy WCF service to fetch the product data.Site provides features like HTML content Preview, Image upload, query optimization. etcAdditional tasks:Fixing the bugs related to development/design/database for Auctiva Commerce merchant stores.Worked with Google's product taxonomy and Google feed generation.
