I am and always will be a mother, a wife, minister of Freedom in Christ and a Life Coach to many. I currently work as a substitute teacher and counselor for the Lynden School District.

I supervise over 100 students per lunch period of 45 minutes maintaining safety, looking for problem areas to be proactive in strategies to keep bullying and other problems from arising, and handling many social/emotional needs of students as they arise.

I provided a comprehensive guidance and counseling program that was data driven, used the risk and protective factors and implemented new and familiar programs as proactive steps to make every students' educational experience a positive and successful one. I was in communication with parents, students, staff, administration, outside agencies and local businesses to provide the best education for all students and to facilitate and create a family friendly environment.

Provided a Comprehensive Counseling/Guidance Program that was data driven and modeled after the risk and protective factors. I had extensive communication with outside agencies and regularly cooperated with and communicated with Parents, staff, administration and other as it pertained. I developed new programs to meet the needs of the buildings I worked in and implemented trainings when needed. I worked along with local businesses to gain community awareness and exposure in the schools.

Provided a Comprehensive Guidance program that was data driven and utilized only those curriculums that were researched based and best practice. Connected with staff, parents and the community to provide the best instruction and help to all students.

I specially designed instruction that was specific to each students needs and provided career engagement, job shadowing and vocational experience to set up a successful future for all students. I also upheld IDEA mandates, held IEP meetings and networked in the community services and experiences for students I served. I managed 10 aides and their schedules and breaks.
