Serves as a liaison with installation transition services providers including the Civilian Personnel Advisory Center, Army Community Service, Army Continuing Education System, Transition Center, Retention Officer, Chaplain, Retirement Services Officer, Staff Judge Advocate, Transportation Office, Soldier and Family Assistance Center, and Health Services activities. Establishes internal SOPs outlining program operations, procedures, and services to be provided. As the Transition subject matter authority, routinely reports on program initiatives, long-range goals, and program successes to installation leaders. Conducts internal systematic program evaluations to ensure established processes meet the need of the program and formulates recommendations for changes to current programs. Bears responsibility on behalf of the installation for quality assurance of workshops/seminars and the curriculum. Devises SFL-TAP marketing and promotional strategies to ensure an effective marketing and public relations program at the installation.

Determine and select methods which will make the most efficient and economical use of facilities and labor obtaining materials, and time. Conduct or arrange for worker training in safety, repair, and maintenance techniques, operational procedures, or equipment use.
