My name is Tavery Platner, and I'm currently a senior at Eastern Kentucky University pursuing a double major in Finance with a concentration in financial planning and in Risk Management Insurance. As an active member of Phi Delta Theta, I have held leadership roles such as Vice President of my chapter and VP of recruitment for the Interfraternity council, where I've developed excellent communication and teamwork skills.Outside of my studies and Greek life involvement, I have been working for Greene Respiratory in Lexington Kentucky as a dispatch technician and data analyst. In my time at Greene Respiratory, I have honed my attention to detail and computer proficiency skills, and I'm constantly seeking new ways to learn and grow in my professional and personal life.Recently, I had the opportunity to participate in EKU's Marketing Plan competition where my team won the award for the best marketing plan report and presentation. I also received the ritual man of the year award for my chapter, which reflects my commitment to excellence and dedication to leadership.As I continue to develop my skills and knowledge, I'm eager to meet other business professionals who can show me the ropes of the business world. With my experiences so far, I am hoping to capitalize on them and continue to grow, both professionally and personally. I'm open to any job opportunity that can challenge me to excel and prove my abilities, as I strive to become a well-rounded individual in my field. My ideal career would be to find a job where I'm passionate about my work while also making a positive impact on the work environment I'm involved in.
