Tavienne Millner is a junior at the University of Florida where she is majoring in Computer Science with a minor in mathematics and maintains a 4.0 GPA. Her passion in technology began in middle school when she learned how to code in Python and started writing simple programs. Since then, she has expanded her skills to include languages like C++ and tools such as the GNU debugger, Jupyter Notebook, and Git, which facilitate the development of complex programs.In addition to her coursework, Tavienne is a Teaching Assistant for Data Structures and Algorithms and Applications of Discrete Structures. In these roles, she is dedicated to helping students grasp complex concepts through engaging discussions and personalized office hours. She is also a mentor with Women in Computer Science and Engineering where she guides underclassmen through their academic journeys and encourages them to advocate for themselves when they need assistance.
