I helped set up event courses and finish lines as well as assisting with event registration, timing and results. I trained and managed volunteers and public race courses.Eventually, I helped create athletic fundraising events for non-profits hiring my family to handle registration, timing and results. In 2009, I helped Voices United create a successful athletic fundraiser.In 2019, we held two athletic fundraisers for our non-profit in San Jose, CA and Murphys, CA.

Founded a successful design-build company in acoustics. A project highlight was working with Polycom to design and build an audio microphone calibration test chamber for their production line in Asia. Another worthwhile project was a unique acoustical treatment approach for large multipurpose room at the Boys and Girls Club East Palo Alto for their fundraising events.

Started out as an Application Engineer in acoustics and became a Project Manager before becoming Sales Manager. As Sales Manager we exceeded company sales goals 18 consecutive months! I also closed a multi-million dollar order for a startup “Quiet Rock” which helped them move into national distribution, partner with the customer, and eventually revolutionize the construction acoustic material industry as “Serious Materials”.I rebuilt a hemi-anechoic test chamber for Apple to meet new engineering standards prior to the release of the first iPod.
