I have taught in elementary for five years and have been working in education publishing for almost two years. As part of the social studies publishing team, I have helped write and edit print and digital instructional materials as well as assessments. Additionally, I have authored, edited, and built digital assets to support student learning. As a teaching professional, I have experience in curriculum design, implementation, and revision for digital and non-digital instruction. My instructional decisions were all based on standards and objectives as well as data collection and analysis. I am familiar with ADDIE, UDL strategies, and other learning theory models. I am comfortable with Google Suite and Microsoft Office 365 products. My M.Ed is in Curriculum & Instruction with specialization in supporting high needs populations. This degree required fluency in action research, professional writing, leadership, diversity and inclusion, and curriculum theory, design, and policy.
