I am passionate about helping individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families improve their quality of life. Seeing individuals overcome challenges and experience improved interactions with those that care about them is extremely rewarding. I have experience with a diverse population, having provided ABA therapy to adults and children since 2004 with a variety of diganoses in homes, schools, Adult Day Training programs, Intermediate Care Facilities, group homes and other community settings.Through my work as Regional Coordinator and Regional Director, I facilitated and managed the expansion of ABA therapy services to children and adults from Pensacola, FL to Ocala, FL. Some responsibilities included marketing for clients and staff, obtaining authorizations for services, managing a team of service providers and regional leadership, ensuring quality clinical services were provided to families via oversight, training and feedback, analyzing data for regional growth and executing strategic plans to meet regional and organizational goals.As Manager of Clinical Operations, I worked collaboratively with various leadership team members to support and enhance clinical excellence across the organization. Some examples include training regional teams and/or leadership, providing CE trainings, streamlining processes to enhance the quality of clinical documentation and ensuring regional teams have up-to-date insurance guidelines for obtaining authorization and service delivery. I am also a certified Safety Care trainer.
