About two years ago, I was intrigued enough to start exploring finance as an area, for what must sound like a most ironic reason: I had no idea where to even start. Rather than walls, I saw a field of endless possibilities, and a great chance to start taking control of my own life early. Today, I continue to find the area of finance enthralling, as well as a wonderful, albeit invisible mentor which teaches me about the market, and myself, every single day. Having been fortunate enough to start my personal finance journey early, there are many reasons which continue driving me to pursue finance. Having experienced the confusion and fear of not knowing what to do with my money at a young age, I wish to become a finance professional to alleviate these feelings, which I feel no one ought to have to go through, especially late in their lives. This is a key reason why I have, in my own time, been writing my own layman investing guide to provide a scaffold for my friends and family on where, and how, they can start with investing.More importantly, having received guidance from a group of dedicated, patient individuals, I see myself becoming a finance professional as a way of giving back to the people who allowed me to start claiming my financial independence and future livelihood from such a young age.
