Acting as the workstream leader for IT training, within a wider programme of workstreams, for a major UK project to deliver E-Learning material and provide intructor-led User training. In addition to this, development of an RMS (electronic archiving system) Help Guide and work collaboratively with Testing Manager and Project Manager.

Role entailed learning the internal bespoke Credit Risk application systems to then train on. Additionally, updates were performed on training documentation and QRGs to match to new and improved features of the application. Documentation was stored on Sharepoint.Updates made on intranet site.Ran regular tri-weekly sessions WebEx at times to suit 3000+ global user base.Administer training plan and scheduling of courses and co-ordinate user account activation with the support team.

Initially employed to review current processes being used with the Operations Employee Database (OED) application which is used to control all headcount by the Business Managers within the GBM Operations group. Tasked to remediate the quality of data and the governance/usage and traning of the application throughout the group. Then performed a global training roll-out. Following on from this, moved into a Business Support Manager role (December 2010) for the Rates Operations group (410 staff globally) to support the business head in the production of automated headcount, budget and financial reports for the area on a weekly/monthly basis and manage agreed headcount and financials target for 2011.

Working on upgrade programme for national roll-out of document management system - CCMS2 (customised Documentum) to 6000 users. Updated existing training tools for instructor-led training and e learning training (using Captivate). Provision of classroom training, workshops to users to promote product functionality and benefits to the business and solely responsible for one-to-one training for Executive group as and where required. Training administration encompassing all elements such as scheduling, training communications, enrolments, attendance reports and account activation.

Originally employed by Standard & Poor’s as their European IT Trainer, then moved to support the McGraw-Hill Companies (of which S&P is a subsidiary) in Canary Wharf, London.

My responsibility is to ensure that the IT training requirements for all ~2000 employees in the offices within the European region are met. Training is based on Microsoft applications and in-house products and is given either by myself or external suppliers. Recent project work entails working on a rollout of replacement programme from Blackberry PDA to Treo PDA across Europe for 276 users and now similar programme from Treo 650 to Treo 750v. Programme entailed course content and documentation design, train the trainer (for trainers outside of UK) and marketing and administration of programme.

Ran my own training company, mainly on a freelance basis. Training for a variety of different companies, namely, British Airways, National Crime Squad, Lord Chancellors Department and Leyland DAF Trucks.

I was employed by WWP Training Centres as a Training Consultant, the last two as a Senior Training Consultant, with responsibilities for special accounts, developing and producing course material on various products and supervising five trainers. In addition to this I was also responsible for the setup of the Help Desk at London Underground.
