In the last decade, my professional and training experience situates within the nexus of built environment and health. Particularly, child health outcomes in urban places. Within this sphere, I have been able to utilize broader theories and methods from the fields of epidemiology, medical geography, city planning and geographic information science to gain deeper understanding on intra and inter urban health disparities. I am apt to learn new tools, which I have demonstrated over the years through my data analytical abilities as guide to improve decision making, such that is optimal, sustainable, healthy and draws population towards sustainable development. I have undergone training and professional practices in different regions/countries of the world. As a result, I have been able to develop intercultural competence, learn and maintain productivity in new places -- which have been exemplified through participation in high level conferences to present research ideas and network. Consequently, such activities have positively improved my presentation and writing skills.
