I have a long history of working on cutting-edge applications and infrastructure components. I have worked on Linux operating systems and virtualisation for more than 10 years as an infrastructure architect. At the same time, I tried to use additional tools that would make it easier for me to manage my environment. I wrote some useful bash scripts and managed system configurations for pre- and post-installation.Then I was interested in being part of DevOps and platform teams, so I changed my career plan. In 3 years, I have been working in DevOps and Platform environments. I and my team manage more than 37 Openshift clusters, 3000 pipelines, 300 Gitlab users, 60 projects and 250 services. We also manage central Kafka, ELK and central Ceph SDS storage. The AWX automation tool is used to manage our daily jobs and it works as a container on Openshift. For CI jobs we use on-prem Gitlab. Jenkins is used for production CD jobs, ArgoCD is used for CD on test environments. We have moved Ansible Tower to AWX and Opensearch conversion is ongoing for ELK usage.
