Waitsia Gas Project Stage 2 Development - Dongara, Wa

Clough were awarded the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) scope for the Waitsia Stage 2 Development. The Waitsia gas field is one of the largest onshore gas fields in Australia, the project includes a new 250 TJ/day gas processing plant with a 20-year life-cycle that will convey gas via the nearby Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline. Employed as a SMP (Structural, Mechanical and Piping) Rigging Supervisor, core role accountabilities have thus far included (but not been limited to):► Planning, coordinating, delegating and supervising daily rigging schedules to ensure the safe and efficient provision of site rigging services for the installation of structural steel modules, as well as providing technical and procedural guidance for all movements, facilitating daily planning and pre-start meetings, and managing timesheets ► Leading by example regarding safety compliance, ensuring all risk assessments are completed to identify and control hazards to people, the equipment and the environment, strictly following all HSE policies and procedures, and holding meaningful safety interactions to raise site safety awareness (and same for all roles below)► Ensuring safe and efficient rigging operations, analysing correct weights and centres of gravity, selecting slings, checking fittings and clips, monitoring distances from overhead hazards, and acting as outside eyes and ears for operators► Working closely with engineering team members, managing permits to work, and ensuring the overall attainment of KPI’s► Supporting a positive team culture and ensuring respectful discussion to resolve issues (same for all leader roles below).

Bhp South Flank Project (Ore Handling Plant) - Pilbara Region, Wa

BHP awarded Clough a major construction contract for the Ore Handling Plant (OHP) at their South Flank Project. Clough’s scope of work includes structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation works for OHP structures, as well as interconnecting conveyors and transfer stations, and the project employs circa 300 workers. Employed as a SMP (Structural, Mechanical and Piping) Rigging Supervisor for a team of 15 riggers, core role accountabilities included (but were not limited to):► Planning, coordinating, delegating and supervising daily rigging schedules to ensure the safe and efficient provision of site rigging services for construction of SMP and E&I structures for the OHP and crushing plant modules, providing technical and procedural guidance for all movements, facilitating daily planning and pre-start meetings, and managing timesheets ► Ensuring safe and efficient rigging operations for 450 tonne, 750 tonne and 2 x 275 tonne crawler cranes, 2 x 80 tonne cranes, 2 x 20 tonne and 2 x 25 tonne Franna’s, analysing correct weights and centres of gravity, selecting slings, checking fittings and clips, monitoring distances from overhead hazards, and acting as outside eyes and ears for operators► Fishing of structural and mechanical components, acting Scaffolding Supervisor for leave coverage, managed the full demobilisation of scaffolding at project back end, and site PTW Holder for live operations ► Ensuring the achievement of Clough MAPS Safety KPI’s and BHP Flex KPI’s.

Tanks Upgrade For Puma Energy - Kwinana, Wa

In October 2018, CBI merged with McDermott to create a global engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company that provides services to the upstream, midstream, downstream, onshore and offshore oil and gas sector. They were awarded an EPC contract by Puma Energy for 11 fuel storage tanks that at Puma’s import terminal in Kwinana. Employed as a SMP (Structural, Mechanical and Piping) Rigging Supervisor, core role accountabilities included (but were not limited to):► Planning, coordinating, delegating and supervising daily rigging schedules to ensure the safe and efficient provision of site rigging services to support the safe and on-time construction of 11 fuel storage tanks for Puma Energy, providing technical and procedural support and guidance for high-risk crane and rigging activities, and facilitating pre-starts ► Ensuring safe and efficient rigging operations for 70 tonne and 45 tonne crawler cranes, 25 tonne Franna and a 6 tonne Merlo, analysing correct weights and centres of gravity, selecting slings, checking fittings and clips, monitoring distances from overhead hazards and weather conditions, and acting as outside eyes and ears for operators.

Clough Suez Water Partners Jv - Beenyup Water Treatment Plant - Craigie, Wa

Water Corporation's Groundwater Replenishment Scheme includes expansion of the Advanced Water Recycling Plant in Craigie (Beenyup water treatment plant), so-as to double the plant's capacity to recharge up to 28 billion litres of recycled water per annum. The Clough SUEZ Water Partners JV were awarded a $multi-million EPC contract to complete the Stage 2 expansion. Employed as a SMP (Structural, Mechanical and Piping) Rigging Supervisor, core role accountabilities included (but were not limited to):► Leading Hand for a team of 10 Riggers, planning, coordinating, delegating and supervising daily rigging schedules to ensure the safe and efficient provision of rigging services to support the timely installation of structural steel, providing technical and procedural support and guidance for high-risk crane and rigging activities, and facilitating pre-starts ► Ensuring safe and efficient rigging operations for a 45 tonne Grove, 2 x 25 tonne Franna’s and a 17 tonne spider crane, analysing correct weights and centres of gravity, selecting slings, checking fittings and clips, monitoring distances from overhead hazards and weather conditions, and acting as outside eyes and ears for operators► Promoted to Supervisor in February 2018 for the full cranes, rigging and scaffolding crew.

Talison Lithium Chemical Grade Plant 2 (Cgp2) - Greenbushes, Wa

AGC (a subsidiary of AusGroup) provides integrated service solutions for engineering, construction and maintenance projects in the energy, industrial and mining sectors. They were awarded a $27million contract for a structural, mechanical and piping installation package on the CGP2 expansion project. The contract includes the installation of approximately 2,000 tonnes of structural steel and associated flooring and cladding, 70 tonnes of plate work, and 450 pieces of mechanical equipment. Employed as a Leading Hand for Structural Rigging, and working on a 2 weeks on/1 week off roster, core role accountabilities included (but were not limited to):► Reading and interpreting structural drawings, and coordinating and supervising riggers to ensure the overall safe and efficient installation of structural steel► Ensuring safe and efficient rigging operations for a 300T crawler crane, conducting regular inspections of rigging gear to ensure safe operability, and supervising mechanical lifts► Facilitating daily pre-starts and scoping jobs to ensure the identification, removal or control of workplace hazards► Ensuring team members follow all safety protocols to ensure safety for themselves, others and the equipment.

Tank Works At Csbp & Puma Energy - Kwinana, Western Australia

As a leader in industrial and water storage for more than a century, CB&I has the most extensive global experience of any tank construction company in the industry, having built in excess of 46,000 storage structures in more than 100 countries on all seven continents. Leading crews on tank works at Puma Energy’s new import facility, as well as CSBP’s major chemical and fertiliser production complex (both located in Kwinana), core role accountabilities included (but were not limited to):► Directing, coordinating and supervising rigging crews across the above listed sites to ensure the safe and efficient provision of tank work services, in line with company and client schedules and specifications ► Facilitating and/or attending daily pre-starts, completing or reviewing relevant risk and hazard identification paperwork, reporting any incidents, and investigating where required► Inspecting all rigging gear prior to commencement of work to ensure the integrity/safe operability of equipment, and conducting repairs and maintenance as required► Working closely with crane crews to ensure cranes are setup in correct directions and locations.

Chevron’S Wheatstone Lng Project - Onslow, Western Australia

► Leadership, development and management of 8 Rigging Supervisors and their crews to support structural, boiler making and piping trades across the project, developing team culture based on mutual respect and a strive for operational excellence, and ensuring the delivery of high quality workmanship to client specifications, on-time and within budget► Providing fit-for-purpose training, mentoring and technical guidance for Supervisors to enable the positive team outcomes, rewarding performance, and assisting with the resolution of conflict as and when required► Maintaining clear and professional communications with contractor and client interfaces, providing transparent progress reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant Codes and Standards► Working closely with engineers and client representatives to ensure a coordinated approach to structural rigging activities► Conducting safety walk-downs with CBI and Chevron representatives to identify and address safety concerns or hazards► Producing detailed and accurate project progress reports, and providing ad-hoc information and advice as required► Managing pre-start meetings to openly discuss and rectify any job relevant issues or concerns ► Assisting with daily construction reporting and 6-week look-ahead schedule► Reading and interpretation of detailed engineering drawings and designs.

Chevron’S Gorgon Lng Project - Barrow Island, Western Australia

Chevron’s Gorgon LNG Project is the largest single-resource development in Australia's history. It includes the construction of a 15.6 MTPA LNG plant, and a domestic gas plant with the capacity to supply 300 terajoules of gas/day. CB&I Kentz JV (CKJV) was awarded a contract to supply SMP, E&I and commissioning services for the construction of 3 LNG trains, as well as associated utilities and a domestic gas processing and compression plant. Core role accountabilities included (but were not limited to): ► Led, managed and supervised a crew of up to 15 trade professionals (including Advanced Riggers and support personnel) in safe and efficient site rigging and construction activities, including the development of work plans for steel erection and process piping installations, delegating tasks, and monitoring overall performance ► Provided technical guidance and fit-for-purpose training and mentoring to maximise team capability, thereby enabling the safe and efficient lifting and movement of SMP (structural, Mechanical and Piping) components, in accordance with relevant lifting codes, standards and specifications► Maintained clear and professional communications with contractor and client interfaces, and developed business-beneficial relationships that supported an integrated approach to site lifting tasks► Reading and interpreting technical project specifications and maintaining strong working understanding of applicable Government and industry legislation► Performed daily maintenance and safety checks to ensure the integrity and safe operability of plant and equipment► Site PTW (Permit to Work) Holder, and appointed as Acting Superintendent to provide coverage for leave.

Woodside’S Pluto Lng Project - Western Australia

Woodside’s AU$15billion Pluto LNG project is a joint venture between Woodside, Tokyo Gas and Kansai Electric. The project will process gas from the Pluto and neighbouring Xena gas fields. Woodside awarded CB&I a contract to construct 2 full containment LNG tanks and 3 condensate tanks on the project. Core role accountabilities included (but were not limited to):► Led, managed, coordinated and provided guidance for crews of up to 8 across all aspects of rigging for steel erection and process piping installations and dual crane lifts, and facilitated pre-start and toolbox meetings► Determined the most effective manner in which to lift the object by examining it, determining its size and weight, and deciding on the right equipment to use (incorporated to plan)► Assembled, installed, positioned and secured construction rigging such as working platforms, pulleys and winches used to undertake construction and maintenance projects► Installed and secured cables, ropes and other equipment such as pulleys and winches, and erected cranes to assist in the successful execution of scoped projects ► Worked with multi-disciplinary trade professionals to ensure a coordinated and efficient approach to rigging activities.
