My passions include product development and e-commerce. I am a graduate from the University of North Texas, with a Bachelor of Science in both Merchandising and Digital Retailing. I have a high regard to the significance of the product development lifecycle, its conversion to e-commerce, and marketing to the consumer. To benefit my intellectual growth and understanding I have gained real world experience in each of these areas. My knowledge of merchandising and product development stem from the upper level courses I have taken, and my participation in a study abroad trip that took place in China and Hong Kong. This study abroad trip allowed me to learn and establish rapport with top retail executives as well as the owners of textile and apparel factories. I observed the apparel supply chain from fiber to fashion, including quality testing, product sourcing, and international business relations. My understanding of digital retailing elevated with participation in a Silicon Valley study tour, where I collaborated with top executives to discuss forecasting, branding, and trends in the digital marketplace. My involvement with the National Retail Federation has granted me recognition with my app concept creation and participation to an industry case study. My experience as a digital display marketing intern at iProspect, a top digital performance agency, allowed to work directly with vendors, media partner, and clientele. I conducted an extensive digital strategy project around an SDK mobile tracking device for Hilton Hotels. My position as The Digital Retailing Research Center Event Coordinator has taught me how to manage multiple tasks while adhering to a deadline. These tasks include planning private meetings and Executive Lectures, assessing budget, and negotiating with branding, an advertising agency, and industry executives.
