Researched, designed, and implemented a multi-media public interest campaign to educate the public on the history of the Oregon Women’s Suffrage movement under the supervision of members of the Oregon Women’s History Consortium Identified topics, created and posted weekly blog posts addressing various topics regarding the history of Oregon Woman Suffrage. The blog encouraged the public to learn more about the suffrage movement and get involved by submitting pictures wearing a “Votes for Women” sash.Managed Facebook and Twitter accounts to promote the Sash Project, generating over 100 likes and 50 new followers. Planned and promoted an International Women’s Day event at WOU including guest speakers, slam poetry submissions, and an international panel. Wrote press kit documents as well as news releases and pitch letters. The event highlighted the issues many women still face, and educated students about The Sash Project.Completed Honors Thesis based on the work done interning with Century of Action.

Created and managed the ASWOU Facebook page, Twitter account, and Website. In a 9 month period gained 350 Facebook members and 50 Twitter followers.
