I'm a research scientist with 7 years of experience in exercise physiology, biomechanics, and orthopaedic surgery. I'm passionate about knowledge creation and interpreting the story behind the data. My expertise lies in protocol development, statistical analysis, and knowledge translation. I completed my masters in cardiovascular exercise physiology from Queen's University where I explored vascular responses to exercise, oxygen delivery:demand matching, and structural vascular factors that affect our exercise performance capacity. Currently as a research scientist with CHEO's orthopaedic surgery division, I manage several clinical trials, device trials, and a wide breadth of other protocols including the development of AI technology to remotely monitor spine diseases, and validating IMU-based methods. I am deeply inspired by the influence my research has on my team's ability to produce good clinical outcomes. I am grateful for the privilege to create knowledge that pushes the boundaries of our current understanding of health and performance capacities and hope to continue to do just that in the future.
