Hi, my name is Taylor Alves (she/her), and I graduated from the Specialized Honours Psychology Program (B.A) at York University in 2024 with Summa Cum Laude. I have been very blessed to have lots of opportunities to get involved and give back during my time at York. I am heavily involved with school, extracurriculars, and research. Currently, I am volunteering in a variety of labs, hospitals, and clinics. I am also starting a new role at Flourish Health Services, a psychology clinic in Toronto, ON as a report writer. In this role, I chat with families, send them the questionnaires for our assessments, and work alongside a team of psychologists and social workers to compile a comprehensive report showcasing the client's strengths and areas needing further support. I am also a part of the admin team and help folx through the intake process! I am a hardworking person who is passionate about psychology and I hope this shows through my volunteering, work, and grades. I have been a member of the Dean's Honour Roll since the start of my time at York until the end (2019-2024)! I truly care about the work I do ◡̈On a more personal note, in my free time, I enjoy reading, going on nature walks, snuggling my cat, and hanging out with my family and friends!
