I am the Employee Wellness Coordinator at Oklahoma State University. In this role, I work to design, implement, and manage holistic wellness programs geared towards full-time faculty and staff that can improve their quality of life and overall experience at OSU and beyond. I collaborate with HR, our branch campuses, and other universities across the state as an America's Healthiest Campus Innovator to share and foster ideas, discuss data-driven and creative programming, and keep up to date with ongoing and future wellness initiatives. Additionally, I conduct trainings in Mental Health First Aid to faculty, staff, and students and deliver wellness workshops on a variety of topics to the employee population. I coordinate health and fitness-based challenges, educational wellness programs and workshops, and am the lead writer for employee health literacy campaigns and the Employee Resource Library. Last but certainly not least, I am also an AFAA-certified Group Fitness Instructor with a passion for making health and wellness fun.With a bachelor's degree in English, master's in Library and Information Studies, and a devoted history in education and wellness, I am ecstatic to be in a position that gives back to those who keep OSU running each and every day.

As a Scholar Recruitment Specialist, I serve as a devout advocate for high-achieving, driven, and high-potential students as they embark on their journeys in higher education. I conduct strategic and effective outreach to build and maintain strong connections with students and their families, as well as helping them to establish connections within the university. I research and communicate scholarship opportunities and programs to guide students towards optimum academic and personal success. I maintain strong working relationships with admissions counselors and collaborate with them to ensure no opportunities in which a student may partake in are missed. Additionally, I collaborate with experts throughout Oklahoma State’s academic colleges to provide up-to-date, thorough information regarding specific majors, career paths, and other opportunities to incoming students and their families.

As a member of the Outreach and Operations team at Oklahoma State University, I assist prospective and current students and their families with academic, financial, and general preparatory inquiries pertaining to Oklahoma State University’s admissions and enrollment process. In addition to those inquiries, I also work to promote Oklahoma State University as an institution of opportunity both in and outside of the classroom. When necessary, I ensure they are connected with the professional or department who can best fulfill their needs. In this position, I demonstrate high adaptability to various communication styles and research for prospective student interests. As one of the first lines of contact with Oklahoma State University, I strive to represent the university with optimum decorum while adapting my communication style to invidual students' needs.

As an English tutor, I helped students to develop strong foundations in writing, communication, and research while promoting strategies for academic excellence. I adapted my tutoring style to the individual and worked with students to ensure each develops the writing, research, and communication skills necessary for success in higher education, creative, and professional settings.

As a volunteer at Stillwater Public Library, I am working to put the knowledge acquired throughout my journey in OU's Master's of Library and Information Science program into practice. I assist librarians with various organization, research, social media outreach, and display tasks.
