At Alabama State University, I learned a number of key skills that will enable me to thrive in this profession, particularly the importance of client-centered and evidence-based practice, along with a high standard of professionalism. I have also refined my critical thinking and analytical skills that will aid me in helping others and have learned how to work in a group to provide exceptional patient care. I pride myself on being passionate and highly motivated in continuing my lifelong learning in the field of occupational therapy.
