Many of these events were mass participation events, attracting over 20,000 attendees.Regular responsibilities include; • Liaising with key event stakeholders on all aspects of an event to ensure all of their requirements and expectations are well communicated • Negotiation with a number of suppliers including catering, audio visual, rigging, theming / decoration, transport and logistics, and entertainment.• Creation of event itineraries and run sheets.• Participate and Chairing of regular inter-department and managerial meetings• Liaison with OH&S and Security departments to ensure events comply with all relevant safety and security statutes, have adequate risk assessments and minimisation strategies• Training and development of new personnel.
