I am Brad Taylor: a dedicated, hardworking US Army combat veteran. I am currently practicing law as an Associate Attorney with Cassiday Schade, LLP, in Springfield, Illinois. I utilize the detail-oriented, task-focused mission mentality I learned in the Army to advocate for my clients in motion practice and at trial. I am also an enthusiastic writer, and my articles have been published in numerous legal journals, including the State Bar Journal and the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel Quarterly.As a law student, I was a member of the Southern Illinois University (SIU) School of Law Journal, whose article was selected for publication and received the SIU Best Note of 2018 Award. I was also a Note Editor on the SIU Law Journal and a teaching assistant to Professor Edward Dawson. I consistently placed within the top five percent of my class and graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2019.I have over 9 years of Signals Intelligence experience within the US Army. I worked with and supervised diverse teams consisting of combat operators and intelligence professionals of varied technical/tactical skills, backgrounds, cultures, nationalities and education levels. I am a skilled instructor and trainer and provided quality intelligence training to junior Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen. I possessed a Department of Defense Security Clearance. I was repeatedly recognized by senior level management for technical proficiency, group leadership skills, and subject-matter expertise. Throughout my career with the US Army, was stationed in numerous countries, including Germany, and South Korea, and deployed twice to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
