Led Youth, Young Adult, Worship, and Audio/Video Ministries. Mentored teams of 3-6 volunteers and groups of 2-15+ youth into leadership and serving roles. Communicated ministry events to volunteers and attendees through email, handouts, website, and social media. Rebuilt church website. Participated in weekly staff meetings as well as “one-on-one” with Lead Pastor. Produced, presented, and adhered to annual budgets. Developed and instituted risk assessment for youth events.

Supervised crews of 2-10 labourers and operators, primarily in softscape. Managed a variety of jobsites, crews, and projects. Worked on everything from apartment building finish landscaping to school yard refinishing. Preference was residential new build homes where customers requested high end landscape finishes such as manufactured stones. Read and executed site plans and locates and communicated to crew. Completed projects professionally, timely, and safely. Operated skidsteers, mini-excavators, truck and trailer, and dump truck.

Operated cab over concrete pump trucks in various weather and site conditions. Often worked near overhead power lines and remained 3-7 meters away. Performed minor maintenance on company vehicles and equipment such as engine and transmission oil changes, suspension repair, and transmission replacement.

Operated curbside collection vehicles in solid waste departments. Conducted pre trip inspections and daily cleaning of trucks and garage. Operated water trucks, picker trucks, skidsteers, implements and attachments within parks departments to repair fences, participate in urban forestry, conducted community beautification, and build/maintain community ice rinks. Operated plow trucks in roads department to maintain safe road conditions in the City of Fort McMurray. Participated in toolbox talks and FLRA’s.

Supervised crews of 2-10 labourers and operators within a large scale land development environment. Taught new hires safe operation of equipment and enforced safety policies. Operated Excavator, Loader, Picker Truck, Rock Truck (30 ton), Skidsteer, Packer, Screener, and various hand tools. Performed rough grade, trenching, truck loading, tailings removal, tree planting, lot prep, final grade, shrub bed installations and tree felling. Conducted daily toolbox talks and safety meetings.
