For the past 7 years I have been employed with Clark Service Company; a residential HVAC and Heating installation and maintenance company. Meanwhile, I have been pursuing a degree in Entrepreneurship planning to graduate from St. Edwards University in the near future. About two and a half years ago I began working full time with National Instruments in the Facilities department as a Building Engineer while continuing to work with Clark Service Company and attending school at Austin Community College. I enjoy working at National Instruments very much as I am learning new things everyday and i'm constantly figuring out how to deal with new and different situations that are presented. I am very interested in business and operating and making decisions that promote effective and efficient business strategies and outcomes.

  I work directly with the property and engineering management in implementing and maintaining the energy management, preventive maintenance, quality standards, and operating objectives.Job description: Maintain heaters, chillers, pumps, fan coil units. Monitor and adjust all mechanical/pneumatic equipment, control gauges, distributor panels, valves, thermostats, diffusers and other equipment necessary to provide a comfortable environment for the buildings. Repair doors, ceilings, hand railings, and floors. Perform preventive maintenance duties, including changing filters, oiling motors, replacing light fixtures, inspecting/adjusting belts, replacing bearings, aligning shafts and annual inspections as directed by manufacturers.Document and report activities.
