I am a director and senior governance specialist with Palladium, a consulting company specialising in international development, strategy consulting and impact investment. I work with international organisations, governments, businesses and non-state actors to ensure that their strategies and projects deliver significant and sustainable results. Over the past 15 years, I have worked with clients to apply a political economy perspective to policy-making, strategic planning, policy dialogue and programme design and delivery. I have worked as a long-term strategic advisor for a range of innovative development programmes in Asia and Africa. I have also been at the centre of recent efforts to promote more politically informed and adaptive approaches to international development through my engagement in the Thinking and Working Politically and Doing Development Differently Communities of Practice. I have a PhD in political science and am a skilled manager, researcher, facilitator and trainer. I joined Palladium from theIDLgroup, where I led the governance team.Specialties include: political economy analysis, strategic planning; institutional reform and change management processes; project and programme design, monitoring and evaluation; training; and facilitation of multi-stakeholder processes and learning events.
