I am an energetic and driven systems engineering manager, who strives towards towards continuous improvement, both in and outside of work. I especially enjoy working with a team and network of other motivated, driven individuals, coming together to create simple solutions from complex, often ambiguous problems. My career so far in engineering has been filled with many exciting experiences, from working on the Boeing Flightline with our international customers, flying with a newly delivered airplane to Kuwait, working with our suppliers in Japan and now getting to see the exciting new technologies coming into the build with our next advancement in twin-aisle aircraft, the 777X. I shifted gears in 2020 into systems and safety analysis, focusing on product and process improvements with an integrated, holistic approach from all across the Boeing enterprise (from Boeing Commercial, Defense and Space, to our Global Services). I now manage a team in strategy and integration for Network and Digital Connectivity Systems across multiple Boeing BCA models. When not at work, I carry over my drive into my personal hobbies, raising the bar in my running and rock climbing pursuits, as well as spending quality time with my family (loving husband, energetic toddler and lazy dog).
