I have recently graduated from St Andrews with a MA in Management and Philosophy. Throughout my studies I was able to engage with a wide range of modules, however, I took a special interest in the more mathematical and technical sides of both disciplines. In management this manifested through my interest in financial maths, which extended past my studies as I held the position of Treasurer for the Musical Theatre Society for two years. In philosophy this was present through my fascination with the practice of Logic (which is effectively the philosophy of mathematics). Outside of my academics I could often be found doing a range of jobs within the theatre community whether that was performing onstage, managing the finances, or providing a helping hand where needed for a variety of productions. These experiences were critical in the development of my communication and interpersonal skills and I hope to continue my involvement within the theatre community in the future.I am excited to say that I will be joining Rolls-Royce Motor Cars as a Graduate in Sales Operations this September! I am looking forward to putting the skills I have gained throughout university to use in a different capacity than I have previously operated in and starting my career in the automotive industry.
