“Being of Aboriginal descent, (Whadjuk Noongar)I aim to advocate for the integration of design technologies within the built environment based on a foundation of First Nations Knowledge of designing on country. I am passionate about designing places that hold true to their context, incorporating innovative ideologies for future proof outcomes. I aspire to make a positive impact by acting as a medium in representing my community on matters concerning informed design.”My experience working in the design industry has seen me work on a variety of projects covering various stages. From early inception to detailed documentation, I have been responsible for a number of crucial roles that contribute to a projects success. Industries I have worked in include Residential, Hospitality, Defence, Education and Health.I Have worked in the building industry for some time as an assistant fixing carpenter for various private and large residential construction companies, whilst also being responsible for design visualisations and early inception phases. More recently I have been involved in web design and brand development for startups, leveraging my design expertise in the inception of impactful brand identities that focus on the uniqueness of their offerings.
