In this position I was responsible for working on the bar and waiting on tables for a golf club attached to a four-star hotel. Weddings and other events, such as formal three course meals, were also very common. This job further developed my interpersonal and customer skills. I was given the responsibility of opening the establishment and overseeing some breakfast events. I worked as part of a small team of around five staff members at a time, and was given some of the most responsibility of any non-managerial staff.

Good time keeping and a commitment to regular hours were also a must for this job. Again, I developed customer service skills. Here I was a trusted member of staff and was often called to cover shifts for other members of staff.

This job included selling green fees, driving range tokens, and various refreshments from reception. Dealing with customer inquiries both over the phone and in person was a frequent occurrence. I also worked on the bar, selling drinks and taking food orders, waiting on tables with food available from the kitchen. I was a key-holder for the clubhouse and was responsible for locking up and placing revenue in the safe at the end of my shifts. This job helped me to develop interpersonal skills with customers, as well as working as a key member of a very small team.
