Environmental Scientist in the Spill Response group of the Division of Water Quality at the Department of Health. My job mainly consists of responding to environmental impacts pertaining to the oil and gas industry of western North Dakota.

• Sampled well-water from multiple locations across St. Louis County for E. Coli, Nitrate, and Nitrite testing and prepared these samples to be tested in the lab to ensure public safety• Operated a surface water filtration system experiment in Ely, MN by following test procedures and recording data • Enhanced knowledge of how to test properties of water by testing pH, temperature, chlorine levels, turbidity, dissolved solids, and color• Organized office’s filing system by overhauling their old filing systems to ensure efficiency in hardcopy data• Demonstrated attention to detail, time management, self-motivation, organization, and people skills through extensive sampling protocols, working alone, and constant communication with well owners.

Duties included sewing and repairing athletic equipment and clothing, assisting with ticket sales, and laundering all athletic clothing.
