Taylor Ellison is a lifestyle host, producer, and speaker based in Austin, Texas. She is the creator, host, and executive producer of the Emmy Award-winning late night program “Austin After Hours” and former co-host of CBS Austin's morning lifestyle program "We Are Austin.”“Austin After Hours” was a half hour late night program airing Friday nights on CBS Austin, highlighting the incredible people and stories coming out of Austin, Texas. Through insightful interviews and entertaining activities, the show shared a window into the lives of inspiring individuals who have followed their dreams. The show aimed to give viewers inspiration to pursue their own highest vision for themselves and ultimately to leave each episode feeling a little better than when they started. Outside of a studio, Taylor is a meditation and mindfulness guide. She facilitates guided meditations for small groups and events as well as working with 1-1 clients to promote self-compassion and well-being. A born and raised Austinite, Taylor is also a proud Longhorn. After graduating from the University of Texas, she moved to Washington, D.C. to join Teach for America, and taught 8th grade at KIPP WILL Academy. Taylor returned to Austin to attend the LBJ School of Public Affairs and pursue her television career. She started as an entertainment reporter covering culture, entertainment, and lifestyle across the city for the CW Affiliate.Taylor gets most of her life advice from the El Arroyo sign. Her current favorite El Arroyo sign is: "there are two ingredients in trail mix: M&Ms and disappointment."
